The SunIsUs Group continues its growth trajectory with the acquisition of Energieglück GmbH, a company specializing in battery storage solutions. Through this integration, SunIsUs is significantly enhancing its capabilities in grid-supportive storage systems and decentralized energy supply concepts – a central pillar of the group’s future project strategy.

Strategic Synergy: Storage Portfolio & Development Team
Energieglück brings an impressive pipeline to the table:
- Over 1.3 GW / 3.1 GWh of storage capacity in development
- A flagship project with 1,600 MWh grid connection already approved
- Ten active battery storage projects across various German states
Energieglück focuses on battery storage for self-consumption optimization, 24/7 grid usage, heat supply, and in the future also hydrogen solutions – addressing key requirements of modern energy systems. The company works with a technology-agnostic approach, including CATL systems and non-flammable Energy Cubes, and utilizes modular, AI-supported development methods.
Integration and Outlook
All current Energieglück projects will be continued under the SunIsUs BESS brand. The “Energieglück” brand will be fully integrated into SunIsUs. The operational team will also be incorporated into the SunIsUs structure.
For existing customers and partners, nothing will change for now. Meanwhile, new synergies will be created in terms of land acquisition, technology deployment, and financing options.

With this acquisition, SunIsUs is strategically expanding its BESS know-how and market presence in the storage segment.
